Help please?! 1372

Hi Chris, wondering if you can help. My dad recently passed away, he had been ill for some time and was not able to communicate very well. He had Airport Song on vinyl and was trying to communicate something about it to my step mum. It seemed like he was saying he had some kind of link to it? I wondered if you may have known my dad back then? His name was Phillip (Phil) Eaves and was from Rushden near Northampton. He would have been 20 when it was recorded. Any info you might have would be great?! Thanks for reading this x

All My Life 1371

Chris. I've been a fan since the early 70's,
and in all that time time i've never heard you sing my favourite song live. and as far as I know, never re-recorded it.Now as the magnificent musical institution that is Magna Carta is drawing to a close, the lyrics of this song seem more poignant then ever. The song? ......All My Life. Used to send a shiver down my spine lstening to it. Take care. Rob

Hello george! i just rediscovered your magna carta music, so good to hear again. I also used to have a tape of just yourself and your guitar with sweet lorraine and a song that started, 'i'm thinking that it's time for you to go away...' and many other songs i know well in my head! I just wanted to say Hi, find out where you are playing these days. I'm in Edinburgh and Mum lives with John James in Wales. I always remember you coming to play at an anti apartheid gig in Luton. We were so lucky to have you!
