FINAL CONCERT

The 40th anniversary will be celebrated by
Magna Carta in concert
at
The Royal Theatre Carré
Amsterdam
on
Monday the 11th of May 2009. Start concert: 20:00

The decision to bring Magna Carta to a close was only taken in October 2007 and so there is still much to be done. There will be no reason for us not to get together to do concerts 'here and there' if we feel we would like to; but our touring days will be over.

The Carré has already been booked, but there will obviously be much more happening as the year goes on and we will keep you informed as the plans come together.


We are now on the final run to The Carré and it seems as though all hell has been let loose as we are now working on the final promotion.

Luckily we have the help of Simône of Le Roy Productions. She is doing a wonderful job, has great ideas and, on the night, you will see a marriage of theatre and music.

This is something that we have always wanted to see as regards 'Lord of the Ages' but the whole show will be given the 'Royal' treatment by Simone and that will be something that you shouldn't miss.

At the start of April we were still working on musical arrangements and Linda went off to Paris to work on something very special with Vic Emerson (ex Sad Cafe) .... you will have to be there on the night to hear the results but we're sure it will be amazing.

I know everyone wants to know who will be joining us on stage... all I can say is that there will be 11 musicians involved and a narrator. Faces from the past will be with us as we pay tribute to 40 years of Magna Carta music.

It promises to be a fantastic evening... a complete 'ONE OFF' Don't miss it because after that it is GONE FOREVER

Nothing lasts forever, but we are dedicated musicians and will all be involved in different musical projects once Magna Carta has disbanded. More information about that will appear on this site at a later date.
