Fields of Eden 2005 - Linda's Tour Diary

Zwijndrecht - 28 October

We have new material but we can only put it in as fast as we can put it together with Matt - but in the space of an evening, on Thursday, we managed to rehearse 4 new songs so that's not too bad for starters.

The first two gigs have been just wonderful. The very first was on Friday in Zwijndrecht, where we had a terrific welcome and a wonderful first concert.

The sound and light crew were just fantastic and we hope that we haven't been too spoilt on the first night, as they are going to be a hard act to follow!!

Marrion was as stunning and hospitable as ever and the audience were so warm that we felt as though we had never been away. Unfortunately, the photograph of the audience didn't come out too well so I have just included a little section - my apologies if you're not on it.

Thanks Zwijndrecht - you gave us a wonderful start.
