Fields of Eden 2005 - Linda's Tour Diary

Leiderdorp - 19th November

Once back in Leiderdorp after our session at Tros Radio we set about putting all the equipment back on the stage and checked the sound again - all was in order.

We had pizza for dinner - talk about GARLIC - it's a good job the audience were not too close - we would have probably knocked them out with the smell!!

We had some lively warriors on the front row down to my left who had certainly decided to enjoy themselves. The 'bum-ba-bum' was even better tonight - I have a feeling it's going to be hard to get any better, but you never know.

The Wonderful Warriors of Leiderdorp

Matt had found a great firm making funny T shirts (if anyone is interested, please let me know and I'll get the details and put them on the site) so I bought three with the message:

"You can either agree with me - or be wrong"

I presented them to Darrell, Chris and Matt on stage - I of course don't need one myself because I'm always right anyway. I couldn't get a shot on stage so I took one in the dressing room in the break.

Funny T-shirts on even funnier bodies

The second set went well and we were given some lovely flowers at the end - then we did Don't Stop Me with lots of help from the audience. Cuddles joined us on stage for that one - along with Nico so it was a real grin.

Two friends - Otto and Joke

After the show we went for a drink in the bar and stayed too long - but what the heck! We were pleased to see Otto and Joke (I'm not sure if I've got the spelling right there - it's pronounced 'Yolker' in English). Otto is a fantastic singer whom we first met back in the late 80s - it was always great to get him up on stage, as everyone had to agree that his vocals were amazing. I've included a photo of the two of them - I hope they don't mind...
