This was Magna Carta's fifth album, first released in 1973, and boasts a cover by the the legendary Roger Dean.
Lord of the Ages is one of the six Magna Carta albums that went gold. It has recently been re-issued on the Repertore label, REPUK 1100, in a re-mastered version, and is readily available.
The lyrics from this album and Seasons were used as part of the English syllabus in several European countries.
You can also hear the original recording of the Lord of the Ages title track on a YouTube video accompanied by some nice 1960s graphics.
